Terms of use

These terms cover TinyScribe, a Mac app distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store.

License

TinyScribe is licensed to you under Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA), as set out in the Licensed Application End User License Agreement referenced by the Mac App Store: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Appdafür GmbH is the app provider referenced in that agreement, not Apple.

The service

TinyScribe transcribes and summarizes meetings on your Mac. Transcription runs on-device using Apple's speech framework. Summaries run through Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Neither depends on an account with us — there isn't one.

TinyScribe is free for your first 30 meetings — transcription and summaries included. After that, recording keeps working; new transcripts and summaries are unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase and processed retroactively.

You represent and warrant that, before recording any conversation, you have obtained all consents required by applicable law from every participant, and that you comply with all laws governing the monitoring or recording of conversations in your jurisdiction and in the jurisdictions of the other participants. You, not us, are solely responsible for such compliance.

No warranty

TinyScribe is provided "as is", to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that transcription or summarization will be error-free or available at all times, since both depend on Apple frameworks and infrastructure outside our control.
